Well made and functional on a budget

I was initially skeptical about this product due to the price. However, I ordered it as a risk.

Upon arrival, I was impressed with the weight of the package (it's not light and flimsy). It said "Univeral Roof Rack" so I was a bit concerned that it wouldn't be an exact fit for my car or would be flimsy and prone to failure like the Highland 2005200 48" Black Universal Car Top Bar Carrier. It is actually akin to the Inno Roof Rack Stays with Lock and Keys for Vehicles with Smooth Rooftops, Pack of 4 (Black)

However, upon installation, it fit well and secure. The bar holders are very sturdy and durable and the crossbars are indeed a fit for my Thule accessories. The installation procedure of getting it secure is rather ingenious and, once the bar positioning is figured out, very easy. An ability to lock the setup would be nice. I do recommend a drill or a really long hex key for the securing of the window frame mounts.

I would have giv en the product 5 Stars except that the instruction's are a bit vague and the pictures are, for all practial purposes, unviewable. In addition, the Hex Key that the instruction manual said should be in there was not in there. I do recommend installing all of the bolts (and then removing them) before mounting to make sure everything is lined up.
