42008+ Highlander Cross Bar
By Eric Chan
This cross bar fits like OEM part. I suspect they are the same regardless who you order it and DD has the best price. The only difference is the rear rail cover removal tool does not come with the kit. Its true the rear rail cover is not designed to be easily removed once they are put on. The four small tabs inside the rail cover will be easily broken if you force it. The instruction is copied from the OEM and there it even list the part number for the rail cover if you break them, as many will. You may want to go to a Toyota dealership and ask your friendly service rep to give you a hand in removing the back rail cover. They will have the official "nylon removal tool". Chances are they will break less tabs than you would. When putting on the cross bar. Its best to have two people to tab both ends of the bar at the same time.

4Almost Perfect
By Some Knowledge
First let me say that for the price, you can't beat these. Half of what Toyota wants for them and they appear to be just the same. Now having said that, the only reason I did not give them 5 stars is this, they came with the end caps un-assembled. The instructions start with the caps already on and the diagrams were pretty blurry. But it was easy to figure out how they attached and would have taken about 5 minutes to put together except one of the adjustable end caps with the slot did not line up with the threaded hole in the bar. A few minutes with the dremel tool and everything lined up and I was ready to put them on. I would also recommend putting lock tite on the 4 small screws that attach the two un-adjustable ends since they face down towards the car roof and if they worked loose, would be a pain to try and tighten back up. I looked up the video on youtube when it came to taking the rear end caps off. I used the paint can opener and even though I was very careful, I broke one of the inside tabs off on the first one. Second one came off no problem. Bars installed easy along with the rubber stops although I may remove or shorten them as the roof bag I bought is a little longer. A little super glue and both end covers went back on. Drove the car, did not notice any wind noise, have not used them yet so cannot comment on that. They came in black and matched the side rails of my 2012 Highlander SE just fine.

5come fast and easy
By Junwei Jiang
The vendor is great. Comes quick. The products menu need improve. It look me lots of courage and ime to remove the rail end cap.
The installation is a bit pain process, this is due to the car, not this product
