5Everything promisrd for 50 some dollars.

Strong Steel..Not difficult to assemble. I cut 4 inches off the insert tubing to draw the bike closer to the vehicle. No difficulty either driving My Kaw 250 dual sport up the ramp or just pushing it on and off. Sounds as if some with prior reviews would have trouble tieing their shoes. Cant beat it for the money!!

4For the price

You cant beat this for the price charged. Only complaint is you need to buy something other than whats included with the carrier to prevent rattling. The included anti-rattle device is at best not very good. I used it to haul my Honda Metropolitan and it works perfect for that.

4Nearly Excellent
By Jeremy Grata
Easy to assemble (some bolts were missing, but easily sourced at Lowes) and is solid in the hitch. The ramp is the right height for a small SUV (say a Toyota Highlander) but a little short for a bigger vehicle (say a Nissan Armada). There are 2 removable thru bolts designed to make a dip or well for the front and rear tires. The spacing for the thru holes is a little far to accommodate any bike style, but it's close; more thru holes than bolts would be VERY useful. The tie down sites are well located (on either side of the track on along the insert ... the one closest to the vehicle is visible in the pic) for securing the handle bars to the carrier. A tie down on each handle bar is probably all that is needed but, we usually strap the tires to the track too ... just to be safe. That's why getting the well for the tires exact would be very helpful. When in transit, the rack is pretty stable; not too much bounce or sway. We thought strapping either end of the track to the vehicle rear tow hooks would be needed, but so far that hasn't been necessary. The assembly instructions were easy to follow, but there are NO images or instructions for the actual use of the carrier. An image search for this style rack explains most of what you'll need to know though. Overall, pretty good, especially considering the price!
