4Works fine, may have to modify, can be found cheaper...
By tmargeson
I installed this on a 1 1/4" hitch receiver using the included 1 1/4" receiver bar. Slid in perfectly, nice and snug, with no grinding needed....at least not for that reason. If you have a Class II 1.25" receiver, you should be able to push it right in. But if you have a Class I 1.25" receiver like I do, the receiver has a "dimple" inside the tube, to prevent using accessories (like this one, I guess?) that are intended for stronger Class II receivers. So when I slid in this carrier, it hits that dimple before the holes in the receiver lined up with the holes in the cargo carrier's "beam". So I had to grind one side of the receiver bar shorter by about a 1/2" so it would slide in far enough to line up the holes. It works out great though for me, cuz I carefully ground it down just to where it needs to be. No guessing, or taking time to eye-up the holes now! Just shove in the carrier til it bottoms out and I know the holes are lined up!
My rack did come with the pin and clip, although it's too big to go through the hole in my receiver! I almost drilled out my receiver, but since my receiver came with it's own pin/clip, I just use that. They cost less than $5 anyway if yours doesn't come with a pin/clip.
The craziest part you'll read in this review is the fact that you can buy this carrier, yes the exact same Masterbuilt Hitch-Haul #30110208 listed here, at my local Walmart for $59.00. You might want to check your store before buying here...

2doesn't fit
By C. Hosler
This bolts together easily, and was well packaged and promtly delivered. The only problem I had was that it actaully doesn't fit the smaller slot hitch size.

I have a grinder so I was able to take off a little metal and make it work, but most folks don't want that sort of hassle.

3Receiver bar does not quite fit
By Smelly Telly
I read the previous review that was posted about this product and it is spot on. The 1 1/4 receiver does not quite fit. There is space on the side, but it is too tall by like a 1/4 inch or so. So, an angle grinder is required to make it fit and it will eliminate the powder coated finish in that area. Otherwise, it serves the purpose for which I bought it for, but it was a hassle. The description also does not mention that the product does NOT come with a receiver pin to hold it on once installed, so that will have to be an additional purchase in order to use this product and not have the cargo carrier come off the back of your vehicle. So lame! You would think it would be included......
